So I found out that I’m going to be a dad. Wow! Baby Ahoy! I’m going to be responsible for a little person. Someone will be depending on me to help them through the key development stages of life. It does sound daunting but the way I look at it is that I got this far, I’m not dead and I’ve made (all in all) some good choices.
So let me introduce myself. I’m Martin. I live in sunny Torquay and I love it here. I work freelance for clients and agencies. Sometimes I work at home, sometimes I’m work in house for companies. I am a business mentor, infrequent gym goer, food lover, Novice chef, keen learner and I love using my hands.
Sarah and I have decided to start a family and after just one month she is pregnant. It’s worked. Neither of us have been down this route before but it’s something we both want and can’t wait for.
I’m not from a big family. It’s just four of us including my parents and my younger brother is married and has two boys! Both of which melt my heart and I love spending time with.
Sarah is from a bigger family and is one of 6 children! Yes, her parents did know what the cause of having babies were. She’s the oldest of the lot and the last one to start a family. She’ll make a great mum and if our kids turn out like her, lll have my work cut out for me!
Stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted with any further developments.
